Summary

The report, themed "Waiting for 2025", examines individuals' agendas in their own lives, their plans for the coming year, events that made them happy and angry in the past year, and the most prominent events they recall regarding the country's agenda. In politics, preferences and perceptions and attitudes towards regime change in Syria are analyzed. Topics regarding economics include spending expectations and household expenditures, discounts in November and the morale index. National lottery tickets are also covered as a separate topic.

KONDA Research has been conducting BAROMETER, a series of political and social surveys, every month since 2010. In addition to standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly measure in each BAROMETER survey, we also ask respondents questions to measure the public's perspective on the issues on the current public agenda and their perceptions and expectations on different issues. This report, the 159th in the BAROMETER research series, is based on the field survey conducted on December 7-8, 2024 by face-to-face interviews with 2778 people in their households in 164 neighborhoods and villages of 94 districts including the central districts of 33 provinces.

Perceptions on the regime change in Syria were measured on December 21-22, 2024 by interviewing 2809 people on the KONDA Mediated Panel.
