Summary

The report themed “Women's Participation in the Labor Force” examines the current situation in women's employment in terms of employed and unemployed women, as well as the pattern of masculine thought patterns regarding working life in the clusters of employed and unemployed women and men. In terms of politics, the preferences of individuals and opinions on the current İmralı meeting and the peace process are analyzed. On the economic side, KONDA Inflation Expectations Survey results, income distribution in Turkey in 2024 and the morale index come to the fore. New Year celebration practices are also among the topics covered.

KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys called BAROMETRE every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in each BAROMETRE survey, we also ask questions about the public's perspective on the issues that are on the public agenda at the time and to measure their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The survey, the 160th in the Barometer research series, was conducted on January 11-12, 2025 by face-to-face interviews with 2551 people in 147 neighborhoods and villages of 97 districts, including the central districts of 30 provinces.
