Özet

KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys under the name BAROMETRE every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in each BAROMETRE survey, we also ask questions about the public's perspective on the issues that are on the public agenda at the time and to measure their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research, which is the basis of this report, the 162nd in the Barometer research series, was conducted on March 8-9, 2025 by face-to-face interviews with 2016 people in their households in 119 neighborhoods and villages of 71 districts, including the central districts of 27 provinces.

In this month's research, we measured current trends in media consumption and following the news. We examined the Turkish society's relationship with television and whether they follow media content, especially TV series and news, on TV or online. RTÜK fines, the most preferred TV channels, primary news source preferences and sources of confirmation were among the topics we covered within the scope of our theme.
