The report, prepared under the theme of “social peace”, seeks to understand how different social segments view confrontation with the past and who considers it important to embrace which sufferings, in light of the fact that political references to the suffering of different groups living in the country sometimes lead to a hardening of the language of politics and damage to intergroup relations. It also examines the methods that different groups propose and are ready to accept in order to prevent these sufferings from happening again.
KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys under the name BAROMETER every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in each BAROMETER survey, we also ask questions about the public's view of the issues on the public agenda at the time and to measure their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research, which is the 128th in the Barometer research series, was conducted on February 5-6, 2022 in 170 neighborhoods and villages of 102 districts including the central districts of 33 provinces by face-to-face interviews with 3506 people in their households.
