1. General Description of the Survey


The survey that this report is based on was conducted by KONDA Research and Consultancy Limited (KONDA Araştırma ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti.) for KONDA Barometer subscribers.

The field survey was conducted on November 9-10, 2024. This report reflects the political tendencies, preferences and profiles of the adult population above the age of 18 in Turkey on the days of the field survey.

The survey was designed and implemented to identify and monitor the trends and changes in the preferences of the subjects representing Turkey’s adult population above the age of 15. The margin of error of the survey findings is +/- 1.7 percent at the 95 percent confidence interval and +/- 2.3 percent at the 99 percent confidence interval.

2. Sample


The sample was prepared by stratifying the population sizes and education levels of neighborhoods and villages based on the Address Based Population Registration System (ABPRS) data and the results of the May 14, 2023 general elections for neighborhoods and villages. Residential areas were first categorized as rural/urban/metropolitan and then the sample was determined based on 12 regions.

Within the scope of the survey, 2909 people were interviewed face-to-face in their households in 165 neighborhoods and villages in 87 districts including the central districts of 33 provinces. Age and gender quotas were applied for 18 surveys conducted in each neighborhood.
