In this section, district-based election results are analyzed according to socio-economic development levels (SEGE) calculated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The 973 districts in Turkey are divided into six different levels of development, with Istanbul-Şişli being the most developed and Şanlıurfa-Harran being the least developed.
