Attitudes Towards Political Systems

SUMMARY

The section examines participants' perceptions and attitudes toward political systems (military rule, theocracy, autocratic leadership, technocracy, democracy):

• The rule of a strong leader who does not have to deal with parliament or elections
• A government in which experts, rather than politicians, do what they think is best for the country
• The army (military forces) ruling the country
• A multi-party, multi-voiced, democratic system
• A religion-based system (in which elections are not decisive)
